Snapper Rock - the Earthquake Dive
Couple of 2m PJ's, small wobbies, fleeting glimpse of a gray nurse. Friendly blueys, flutemouth. Huge amounts of yellowtail, bonito, bullseyes, mado, morwong etc.
Had just got back on the boat when the "Newcastle" earthquake struck. Didn't notice it on the boat but the guys still under heard a noise like really big boat passing overhead very quickly, and all the fish flocked off. When we got back to shore we found out about the earthquake.
Action Divers Tuncurry, Sea Tang.
